Masters of Fashion

Three fashion grad students living out their last semester in style

I love how these pictures make it seem as though my head can touch the ceiling. I’m like Alice in Wonderland.

My shoes made me feel dainty, hence the pose. The ballerina bun added to the effect.

Today I wore my black skinny jeans and grey striped blouse, both from Target. My white denim jacket is Bebe and the shoes are Jeffrey Campbell from barefoottess.com. Archana pointed out that all my monies have been going to barefoottess.com.  They almost always have a sale or promotion of some sort. They have trained me to wait for these damned coupon codes! I bought these bad boys during their free shipping promotion - why are they still charging for shipping anyways? Free Shipping is the way of the world now; get with it.

After Mikahila raved about her Julep box, I had to get one as well.  She was sent the “Bombshell” colors, after taking the Julep style quiz, I received the “American Beauty” colors, “Penelope” and “Portia”.  I’m pretty excited about this box as it came with exfoliating hand scrub and a file!

As a child, I strongly disliked pink, every pink. However, it’s managed to grow on me in the last few years but I like it as an accent.
I am wearing my grey Levi’s, a pink sweater from Old Navy and the light blue denim blazer, which remains a mysterious acquisition (It was probably a gift. I can’t remember for the life of me!) And I’m finally breaking in my “natural” TOMS for the summer. I was going to embellish them but I think I like them as is.

Happy Wednesday everyone!  I’ve been sick since the weekend, and today I finally feel better!

Today, I’m wearing a yellow devore striped jumper from plenty by Tracy Reese, black Yummie Tummie leggings, my grey Trouve leather jacket, and a multi colored striped scarf which is another yard of fabric I’ve picked up along the way.  Again sporting my Ariat cowboy boots and Ray Ban Wayfarers as my staple accessories.

My nails are Butter London’s “Bossy Boots” and Deborah Lippmann’s “Daytripper”.  Hope everyone is having a nice hump day!

Happy Easter, everyone!!

Happy Easter, everyone!!

Decided on some Easter inspiration for this week’s nails.  Butter London’s “Bossy Boots” with Deborah Lippmann’s “Daytripper”!
The ladies of Masters of Fashion are heading out tonight for a little stress relief from all the studying!

Happy Friday Everyone!  Hope y’all had a good week and will have an even better weekend!    It’s been a busy week for me, as I’ve been doing a big hall to get my thesis done before June!  I have a bit of a headache, and I think it’s from looking at a computer screen for far too long.

I love how everything is blossoming around Delaware, so I usually make Archana take pictures of me in front of the flowering trees.  For today’s outfit, I wore a poppy red skirt by Tracy Reese (which was actually a dress until I decided if I cut the top off I could wear it more), a Tracy Reese striped sweater, my dot tights by Hue, my brown cowboy boots by Ariat, and my Trouve leather jacket.  Accessories wise I wore my Ray Ban Wayfarers, a necklace I got from the vintage stop Pop! in Lancaster, PA, and a brown leather belt from Uniqlo.

My lips are sporting NARS’ Heatwave.  That’s it for me today!

Let me tell you a story about our dear Tiffa.
The very first day I met her, her very first words “I designed that skirt”.
Me: WHAT
Tiff: I designed that print while I was Assistant Designer at Tracy Reese

Me:
No niceties or introductions, just “hey, I’m awesome and you’re wearing some of my awesomeness right now”. But now we love each other and my skirt is that much more special :)
I bought the skirt at Anthropolgie - as aforementioned, its by Tracy Reese. My sweater is H&M and of course I’m wearing my gold oxfords from barefoottess.com. It will be a sad day when these shoes get so tattered and worn that I would have to get rid of them as I know this day is approaching - but let me only think about the good times for now. I heart these shoes.
In case you were wondering, yes, I am falling down in this picture but I will not explain why. That is all.
