Masters of Fashion

Three fashion grad students living out their last semester in style

Quite a busy day today!  First I had my own class to teach (they started construction on their skirts), then one of the professors asked me to sit in on her class’ presentation for their shift dresses (as seen in the photograph).  Following that I was invited to a lunch at Vita Nova by my advisor to meet one of the Advisory Board members who would not be able to attend the Advisory Board meetings tomorrow and Wednesday.  Being able to talk CSR with one of the VPs from Bureau Veritas, a highly respected compliance auditing firm, made the lunch greatly educational.  Next, I’m off to another meeting to find out where I’ll be presenting my thesis research on the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act for tomorrow’s Advisory Board meeting.  Busy, busy Monday!!!

For today’s events I went with my Jason Wu for Target blue floral dress with my plenty by Tracy Reese military cardigan on top.  I then used a red tie belt to add emphasis on my smaller waist.  While the tie belt can also put emphasis that I’m short waisted, I do like that it makes my legs look longer.  I put some black lace tights by Hue, and courageously wore my grey suede Sam Edelman pumps to the lunch.

All in all it’s been a busy, but gorgeous spring day!
